'Batman' arrested for theft

Melbourne: A man dressed as crime fighting superhero Batman, who was filmed handing over a criminal to British police, has fallen foul of the law himself.
According to Daily Telegraph, Stan Worby was arrested and charged with burgling a garage and, ironically his alleged partner-in-crime was the same man he took to the police in his Batman outfit, News.com.au reported.
Worby, 39, a Chinese takeaway delivery driver, became an overnight sensation when he was clicked arriving at a police station in Bradford in the dead of night.
He said at the time that he had driven Daniel Frayne , 27, a friend who was giving himself up to police, to the station after coming back from a football match he had attended in the caped crusader fancy dress.
It has been reported that the duo were arrested and charged with stealing power tools worth 770 pounds after breaking into a garage in Bradford in the early hours of the morning.
Frayne, from Grimsby, has pleaded not guilty to burglary and was released on bail to appear in court again with Worby, later this month.
