Telugu film actor Ram Charan Tej landed himself in a controversy after he and his private security guards allegedly attacked two software engineers for not giving way to them at a traffic signal on Sunday afternoon. Ram Charan Tej is the son of Union Minister for Tourism and film actor Chiranjeevi.
 

The techies – Phanish of Kondapur and Kalyan of Uppal — were coming towards Punjagutta from Road No.1 when they ended up in the brawl.

Even as heated arguments were on, the actor’s security men reached the spot and began to rain blows on the techies. Ram Charan too allegedly joined the melee before leaving the spot.
 

The software engineers then reached the Banjara Hills police where they held “discussions” with senior police officials in the station for an hour following which the techies told the waiting media persons that they were not lodging any complaint and left the premises.
