Kochi: As pacer S. Sreesanth is set to pray before Lord Ayyappa this weekend with his brother Deepu, it may also be seeking blessings for tying the nuptial knot, which may happen sometime during Onam season in September.
Amidst rumours of a proposal from the Jaipur royal family and the marriage likely to take place at Guruvayur temple, Sreesanth’s family only confirmed that there was a proposal from a non-Keralite but refused to divulge details.
“Our family has not seen the girl. But we have received a proposal and will think about it,” was all Viditha, Sreesanth's sister and wife of noted playback singer Madhu Balakrishnan, had to say.
The reports about his tying the knot have surfaced a day after the cricketer came home on bail in an alleged spot-fixing case.
