Crime file: Girl mails nude pics of hostel mates, held
Kochi: The police on Wednesday took into custody of a twenty-year-old MBA student for allegedly taking nude pictures and videos of her hostel-mates and sending them to her boyfriend in London.
Perumbavoor circle inspector V. Roy took custody of the girl who hails from Kollam. The arrest is to be recorded later and she will be produced in court on Thursday.
According to police, the girl was lured and sent the pictures. One of her hostel mates found a hidden camera and lodged a complaint with the college authorities who informed the police.
The entire transactions, including emails, were traced and the girl would be charged under Information Technology Act, police added.
