Bangalore: Team India and Rajasthan Royals bowler S Sreesanth, who was recently granted bail after being arrested on spot-fixing charges, is expected to marry a woman who stood by him during the torrid times he endured in Tihar jail.
The name of the young Jaipur-based woman is not yet revealed. The name of the young woman, a graduate in her early 20s, has not yet been revealed. The young woman, it is understood, first met Sreesanth when he was in Jaipur to play for India in 2006 to collect his autograph.
She reportedly called Sreesanth during his confinement and was in touch with his legal team to keep track of the progress of the case. Her family is also learned to be supportive. Her father had met the cricketer at Tihar jail, The Hindu reported.
